Edward Bormashenko : ウィキペディア英語版 | Edward Bormashenko Edward Bormashenko is a professor of physics and materials science and the Head of the Laboratory of Polymers in Ariel University in Israel. He was born in 1962 in Kharkiv, Ukraine and lives in Israel since 1997. His research is in the polymer science, surface science and the superhydrophobicity. He is known for his pioneering research of wetting transitions, superhydrophobic polymers, the effect of the plasma treatment on wetting properties, and analytical thermodynamic derivations of the Cassie and Wenzel equations using the variational calculus. Dr. Bormashenko is among the organizers of the biannual Modeling in Materials Technologies (MMT) international conferences at Ariel University. He is one of the most productive and cited scientists in Ariel University. Dr. Bormashenko is also known for his numerous philosophical essays (written in the Russian language) in which he investigates the Jewish religious thought, Russian literature and scientific methodology.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Edward Bormashenko's writings )〕 The central motif of his work is seeking the truth in the post-modern time.
